Abstract: Objective To prepare the molecularly imprinted polymers and provide a reference for the separation and enrichment of trichlorfon. Methods Molecularly imprinted polymer was prepared using sol-gel method, with trichlorfon as template, 3-aminotripropylethoxysilane (APTES) as functional monomer, and ethylorthosilicate (TEOS) as crosslinking agent. The prepared imprinted polymer was used as the solid phase extraction filler for the separation and enrichment of trichlorfon in the actual samples. In combination with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), the content of trichlorfon in Chinese cabbage, cabbage, and tomato was determined. Results The results showed that the matrix interference could be effectively removed in this method. The limit of detection was 0.92 μg/kg, and the recovery rates were between 87.66% to 100.0%, with RSD of not greater than 4.5%. Conclusion This experiment provides a new idea for the pretreatment of actual samples and develops a new method for the detection of trichlorfon. It is expected to be widely used in the separation and detection of trichlorfon in actual samples.
