Abstract: The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals provided 17 guidelines for all counties to ensure health and safety for all by 2030. Health disasters like COVID-19 risk human lives, and there is a great need for heightened awareness. Routine and early-phase monitoring is turning out to be a vital requirement for sustaining a standard fitness level and evaluating one's physical strength. Various new age technologies and methods such as the selective artificial antibody-based metal- organic frameworks (MOFs), which have been used in practical applications. MOFs have been used for creating sensing devices, but they suffer from a low selectivity in complex matrixes. To increase the selectivity of sensor, artificial antibodies such as molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) come into the limelight. This chapter illustrates developments in the model of molecular imprinting utilizing MOFs to create chemical sensors. It presents key strategies in fabrication procedures, implementation, and applications in sensing devices. It also includes commentary on future developments in this field
