Abstract: Uniform-sized molecularly imprinted polymer for N-carbobenzoxy- L-tryptophan (N-Cbz-L-Trp) was prepared by a multi-step swelling and suspension polymerization method used 2-vinyl pyridine (2-VP) as functional monomer and diethylene glycol diacrylate (DEGDA) as cross-linker. The polymer was gel like particles whose average diameter is 6.3 μm and diameter distribution is 1.03. It was found that the baseline chiral separation of the template enantiomer was achieved on a shorter column. The separating degree was better, when the chromatographic conditions were as follows: acetonitrile as the mobile phase, sample amount 1000 ng, flow rate 0.25 mL/min and column temperature 30degreesC respectively
Template and target information: N-carbobenzoxy-L-tryptophan, N-Cbz-L-Trp
