Abstract: L-Phenylalanine was used for imprinting on the surface of polymer particles and formation of porous structure during the prepn. of polymer membranes with chiral properties by using matrix polymn. The receptor structure of the matrix polymers was examd. as well as the feasibility of their use in chem. sensors. Membrane permeability for amino acids was tested by electrophoresis. Elec. resistance and x-ray diffraction data were used for explaining the mechanism of polymer interaction with the matrix. The general principle of matrix formation of substrate-selective polymer membranes was confirmed by using cholesterol as the matrix substance (instead of L-phenylalanine).
