Abstract: A sorbent specific for ATP was prepd. by the substrate imprinting method, in which ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (I) was polymd. with diethylaminoethyl methacrylate (II) in the presence of ATP in DMF soln. at 65°, with AIBN as catalyst. After removal of ATP by rinsing with 1 M NaCl soln., the sorbent was characterized. The retention time of ATP on the substrate-imprinted sorbent was twice as long as the retention time on a control I-II copolymer sorbent, and ATP could be sepd. chromatog. from AMP and ADP on the imprinted sorbent. The introduction of silica gel Silasorb 300, preliminary modified with 4-vinylbutyltriethoxysilane, into the polymn. mixt. in sorbent prepn. increased the sorption capacity from 3.2 to 9 mg/g. Eluent pH affected ATP retention time on the imprinted sorbents.
