Abstract: Molecularly imprinted polymers ( MIPs) were prepared by using acrylic derivatives as the functional monomers, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate ( EDMA) as the cross-linker, bovine serum albumin (BSA) as the template. In order to obtain qualified protein imprinted polymers, detailed studies were carried out over the polymer compositions, chemical reagent adding sequence, UV radiation time and synthetic conditions. The experimental data showed that the BSA imprinted polymers, compared to their blank counterpart, exhibited desired adsorption affinities and selectivity to the BSA molecule, and the amounts of adsorption were obviously higher than that of the blank polymer
Template and target information: protein, bovine serum albumin, BSA
