Abstract: Microspheric trans-aconitic acid imprinted polymers were synthesized via a precipitation polymerization with acetonitrile as dispersion solvent. It was found that the hydrogen bonded complexes of monomertemplate and oligo- functional monomers before polymerization is the control factor governing the formation of microsphere. Binding property was evaluated with a batch adsorption method. The results indicate that the selective recognition of the template molecule with the molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) microsphere is superior to those of the MIP monolith as well as the non-molecularly imprinted polymer (NMIP)
Template and target information: trans-aconitic acid
