Abstract: This is a brief review on the developments and applications of chemiluminescence (CL) sensors dated from 1999 to present. Methods and materials for immobilization of CL reagents are introduced. The CL-based sensors, including the sensors for the detection of inorganic species, organic species and biological macromolecules are summarized. The advantages and limitations of CL sensors are discussed
