Abstract: The circular dichroism of the complexes formed between slightly hydroxypropylated amylose and cyclomalto-hexaose, -heptaose, and -octaose (alpha-, beta-, and gamma-cyclodextrin) with nine different achiral ketones and phenolphthalein has been investigated.
