Abstract: Molecularly imprinted polymers, artificial antibodies, were synthesized by printing target biomolecules on a monomer mixture and then forming a highly selective and stable polymer. Scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) was employed to measure the reduction current between horseradish peroxide (HRP) conjugated lysozyme antibody and ferrocenylmethol (FMA) after different lysozyme concentrations for rebinding were applied on the molecularly imprinted polymers. We found that the reduction current increased linearly with increasing the rebinding lysozyme concentration.
