Abstract: A molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) was synthesized successfully through a molecular imprinting technique by using Metoprolol as templates, methacrylic acid as a functional monomer and elhylene glycol dimethacrylate as cross-linker,under the condition of UV initiation. The experiments of binding different substrates indicated that the MIP possessed better selectivity toward the template than other analogs. Scatchard analysis showed that the template polymer using methacrylic acid(MAA)as functional monomer could form two kinds of non-equivalent binding sites. The dissociation constants of MIP were estimated to be K-(d1)=2.398×10~(-4) mol/L and K-(d2)=6.364×10~(-4) mol/L.The most apparent adsorption amounts were calculated about Q-(max 1)=58.57 μmol/g and Q-(max 2)=86.13 μmol/g, which correspond to 50.53% and 74.31%of theoretical values, respectively.
