Abstract: Using diethylstilbestrol (DES) as template molecule, α-methacrylic acid (MAA) as functional monomer, and ethylene dimethacrylate (EDMA) as crosslinking agent, a polymer was synthesized by molecular imprinting technique. The molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) were loaded into the solid-phase(extraction) (SPE) cartridge, which was applied to the pretreatment of residues analysis of diethylstilbestrol.(Elution) conditions of DES on the solid-phase extraction cartridge were optimized.Furthermore, the difference of the retention characteristics of diethylstilbestrol on the C_(18) and DES-MIPs solid-phase extraction cartridge was compared. The DES-MIPs-SPE had higher selectivity than the C_(18)-SPE.The method has been applied to pretreat spiked samples successfully with the recovery more than 95%.
