Abstract: We prepared 3-indoleethylmethacrylate (IEMA) by etherification of 3-indoleethanol (IE) and methacryloly chloride; Copolymerization of IEMA and divinylbenzene (DVB) was performed to prepare P(IEMA-co-DVB), which was used for indole imprinting by covalent imprint technique. Then, the imprinted powders of the P(IEMA-co-DVB) were employed to hybridize with polysulfone (PSf). It was found that the hybrid membrane showed recognition and binding to the IE substrate. The separation behavior of substrate mixture containing pyrrole, 8-hydroxyquinoline, indole and IE was confirmed by using the hybrid membrane
