Abstract: A method was developed for the determination of ultra-trace bisphenol A (BPA) in water sample by chromatography with large volume ( 40 mL) direct injection without pretreatment. The enrichment and separation of BPA in water were achieved on a BPA imprinted polymer microspheres packed in a high performance liquid chromatography column. The calibration graph was linear with R-2 > 0. 998 in the ranges of 0.1 - 100 nmol/L BPA standard solution. The limit of detection and limit of quantitation were 0. 03 nmol/t and 0. 1 nmol/L, respectively. For spiked lake water analysis, the RSD (N = 5). was less than 8.1% and the recoveries were 96% - 101.4%
