Abstract: In order to remove the released nitro compounds in waste water, selective absorption of TNT is studied by molecularly imprinting technique. The molecularly imprinted polymers (MIP) was prepared using TNT as template molecule, TRIM as crosslink agent and acrylamide as monomer. MIP was used to clean up TNT from the methanol-aqueous solution. Their absorptive performance were analyzed by RP-HPLC. Absorption kinetic curve of MIP showed that the absorbing saturation time is about 40min. The 1mg mL-1 MIP reduced the TNT concentration from 13.7 mg L-1 to lower than 1.10mg L-1 in 30min. The absorptive rate was 92.0%, showing that the selectivity of MIP for the template molecule TNT was high.
