Abstract: A quercetin-imprinted polymer was synthesized successfully under the condition of heat-initiation through a molecular imprinting technology by using quercetin as the template molecule,acrylamide as the functional monomer and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as the cross linking monomer,and the selectivity of the polymer for substrate was investigated by solid-phase extration column packed with the molecular imprinted polymer.The results revealed that the polymer exhibited high affinity for quercetin and good selectivity among the tested compounds.It's likely to be a novel material for selective enrichment and determination of trace quercetin in traditional Chinese medicines.
