Abstract: Silica particles containing surface-bound free radical initiators have been used as supports for the grafting of thin films of molecular imprinted polymers.MIPS). We used ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as crosslinkers, methacrylic acid as functional monomers, phenylalanine as templates. First, the free radical initiators 4,4'-azobis.4-cyanopentanoic acid) was convently bound on silical particle surface , then carry free radical polymerization on the surface. The absorption capability of MIP was studied.
Template and target information: phenylalanine
