Abstract: Molecular imprinted polymer (MIP) has great potential in enriching and cleaning-up complex samples because of its unique high selectivity. The applications of MIP to solid-phase extraction were reviewed. The contents include preparation of MIP with different methods, considerations in selecting eluate for cleaning-up samples, and prospect of applying MIP in the separation of complex samples. Thirty-six references were cited. (Analytical Abstracts 2005)
