Abstract: Molecularly imprinted polymers for the recognition of Lidocaine [P(LD)] utilizing methacrylic acid as a function monomer were prepared either by UV grafting at low temperatures (0-4 °C) or by thermal grafting. The results evaluated by Scatchard analysis showed that P(LD) prepared by UV grafting at low temperatures has good selectivity for Lidocaine. P(LD) can be expected to be employed for the separation, enrichment and identification of Lidocaine clinically. (Analytical Abstracts 2004)
Template and target information: lidocaine
