Abstract: On the basis of the sensitive response of piezoelectric quartz crystal (PQC) and the specific selectivity of molecu-larly imprinted polymer (MIP), an imprinted polymer using chlorogenic acid (CGA) as the template molecules was synthesizedand a kind of piezoelectric quartz crystal bulk acoustic wave bio-mimetic sensors was proposed. The influence of the modifiedcoating layer on the response has been investigated in detail and the imprinting effect of MIPs has been verified. By optimizingthe experimental conditions, the new sensor has been employed in the determination of chlorogenic acid in tobacco and satisfac-tory results have been obtained.
