Abstract: Molecular Imprinted Polymer (MIP) was prepared using alpha-methacrylic acid as functional monomer and it had selective adsorptivity to armodarone (AD). The selective binding characteristics of the armodarone imprinted polymer was evaluated by Scatchard analysis, the results show that there are two kinds of binding sites and their dissociation constants K-d are approximately 8. 73 X 10(-2) mol/L and 3.48 X 10(-2) mol/L. Choosing 1-pyrenebutyric acid as fluorophore, with lambda(ex) = 349 nm and lambda(em) = 376.3 nm, measuring fluorescence quenching of MIP fluorescence sensing membrane made by polymer embedding method, calibration curve was established in the range of 2 - 20 mg/L AD with good linearity (r = 0.9970 the method proposed was used for the determination of amiodarone tablets with good recoveries (99. 8% 101. 7%) and RSDs (1. 4% - 6. 2%)
