Abstract: Molecular imprinting is a new technique for the synthesis of polymers containing specific recognition sites. In this study, glucose oxidase(GOD) was used as a template molecule and GOD-sensitive device was constructed based on a molecularly imprinted polymer. GOD was detected by means of UV-visible absorption spectra. The GOD imprinted polymer film was shown to bind GOD reversibly, while GOD did not bind to the simply crosslinked polymer. It was proved that the present approach was effective to introduce the recognition site into highly crosslinked polymer film.
