Abstract: The nano-silica was synthesized through microemulsion and was modified with poly amidoamine (PAMAM) as the co-monomer and the support. Then, the molecular imprinting polymer (MIP), which contained the PAMAM silica, was prepared in a micro suspension process, using methyl acrylate as the functional monomers, TRIM as the crosslinkers, and L-tryptophan (Try) as the templates. In this experiment, the adsorption ability of the MIP was characterized by static adsorption method and HPLC retention, which indicated that the MIP bore excellent recognition ability for Try molecule in aqueous solution
Template and target information: L-tryptophan, Try
Author keywords: high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), L-tryptophan, Micro suspension polymerization, molecular imprinting polymer, Poly amidoamine, silica
