Abstract: Complexes of copper (II) with polymeric sorbents based on polyethylenepolyamines are investigated by EPR. It is shown that preliminary conformational arrangement of sorbents ensures that on subsequent bonding of the metal ions metal complexes are formed preferentially of structure identical with that of their low molecular weight analogues in solution, and the Cu is more uniformly distributed in the bulk of the specimens compared with the non-arranged sorbents.
