Abstract: A new cross-linking monomer 2-(methacryloylamino) ethyoxyl-2-methacrylate ethandiol ester was designed, synthesized by methacryloyl chloride and 2-(2-aminoethoxy) ethanol. A kind of molecular imprinting polymers (MIN) of N-[(tert-buloxy) carbonyl]-L-tryptophan (N-Boc-L-Trp) for chiral separation were synthesized using the 2-(methacryloylamino) ethyoxyl-2-methacrylate ethandiol ester as cross-linking monomer and acrylamide as function monomer. The chiral separation capability of this MIPs to N-BOC-tryptophan (N-Boc-Trp) was evaluated when it worked as a HPLC column filling. The experimental results showed that the chiral separation of N-Boc-Trp racemic mixture was performed by this MIPs and shown an excellent selective distinguish ability when detector wavelength is 280 mm, mobile phase is methanol/water (80:20, v/v) and flow rate is 0.8 mL/min.
