Abstract: Molecular imprinted polymer is a new important predictable selectivity material; its recognition property mainly depends upon the contained functional monomer. Therefore, interest has been growing in study on molecular imprinted polymers with novel functional monomer. Based on the applications of molecular imprinted polymer in the fields, such as chromatogram column separation, solid-phase extraction,sensors and so on,the progress of the molecular imprinted polymers with novel functional monomers were summarized and the limitations and prospective applications of the technique related were discussed, too
