Abstract: Protein molecularly imprinted membranes were prepared with bovine serum albumin as template molecule, acrylamide as functional monomer and N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide as cross-linker by surface molecularly imprinting technique in the presence of 0.45 mu m hydrophilic cellulose ester filter membranes. The amounts of template, monomer and cross-linker during the preparing process and the conditions of selective permeation were controlled and optimized. The results showed that the protein molecularly imprinted membranes exhibited the higher permeation selectivity to the bovine serum albumin
