Abstract: Indole-3-acetic acid-selective polymers were prepared by molecular imprinting, and the imprinted polymer was applied to the solid phase extraction. At first, the effect of functional monomers, N,N- dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate and methacrylic acid, on affinities in imprinted polymers prepared was examined chromatographically. The imprinted polymer prepared with N,N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate showed higher affinity for indole-3-acetic acid than the polymer prepared with methacrylic acid, and the imprinted polymer was applied to the solid phase extraction.
