Abstract: Ultrathin films of titanium oxide gel that are imprinted with carbobenzyloxy-L (and D)-amino acids (Cbz-Ala, Cbz-Leu, and Cbz-Phe) were prepared on gold-coated QCM electrodes. The imprinted films showed much better binding for template stereoisomers than the corresponding enantiomers. The chiral separation factor increased with increasing sizes of the amino acid side chain
Template and target information: carbobenzyloxy-L (and D)-amino acids, Cbz-Ala, Cbz-Leu, Cbz-Phe
