Abstract: The progress in separation, enrichment and analysis techniques of mid-low radioactive metallic elements since 2000 was summarized. The new materials (including ionic liquid, biosorption material and ion imprinted polymer) and the application of new methods (including cloud point extraction, membrane extraction and capillary electrophoresis) in the separation of mid-low radioactive metallic elements were discussed. The application of UV-visible spectrometry, fluorescent spectrometry, spectrophotometry and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry in the analysis of medium-low radioactive metallic elements was introduced particularly. Moreover, the prospect of the pre-seperation and enrichment methods for mid-low radioactive metallic elements were studied
