Abstract: The molecularly imprinted polymer with apigenin as template molecule was prepared by molecular imprinting technique and optimum conditions of synthesis process were studied. The adsorption property and selective recognition ability of apigenin imprinted polymer to apigenin were evaluated by equilibrium adsorption experiments and the imprinting efficiency of apigenin imprinted polymer was discussed. The results showed that the polymer had higher adsorption and higher selective recognition ability when it was synthesized with tetrahydrofuran (THF) as porogen, 2-vinylpyridine (2-Vpy) as functional monomer, ethylene glycol dimethyl acrylate (EDMA) as crosslinker, n(API):n(2-Vpy):n(EDMA)=1:8:40, at 60 °C. Scatchard analysis indicated that there were two classes of recognition sites in apigenin imprinted polymer among the experiment concentration range of apigenin and the imprinting efficiency of apigenin imprinted polymer was 47.9%
