Abstract: A sensitive chlortoluron sensor based on molecularly imprinted electropolymer of o-aminophenol was proposed with chlortoluron as template molecule and o-aminophenol as functional monomers. The configuration and performance of molecular imprinted membrane and the voltammetric behaviour in molecular imprinted sensor were investigated by cyclic voltammetry(CV) and differential pulse voltammetry(DPV).The sensor exhibited good selectivity and sensitivity to chlortoluron with the coexistence of interferences fluometuron and isoproturon, two of phenylurea herbicides with similar molecular structure to chlortoluron.A linear relationship between current and chlortoluron concentration was found in the range of 3.0×10-7-1.5×10-6 mol/L,the determination limit calculated through the formulation DL=3 db/s was 1.0×10-7 mol/L,and the recoveries of chlortoluron from the sample containing same concentration of fluometuron and isoproturon ranged from 105% to 116%.
