Abstract: This paper depicts the influence of the crosslinker/porogen ratio upon the properties of molecularly imprinted polymer particles. Gallic acid was used as target molecule (analyte). Sorption/recovery tests, and thermo-gravimetric analyses, scanning electron microscopy and infrared spectroscopy were performed. Adsorption and extraction processes were quantified using high pressure liquid chromatography with refractive index detector.
