Abstract: By using lead ion(II) as the template molecule, sodium vinylbenzoic- acid as the functional monomer and divinyl benzene as the cross-linking monomer, lead molecularly imprinted polymers (Pb-MIPS) were synthesized by preassembling and surface-imprinting technology. In this paper, the structure of Pb-MIPS was characterized with FT-IR spectrometer and specific surface area apparatus, and the adsorp- tion properties and selective recognition of Pb-MIPS for lead ion was also studied. The experimenttal results show that Pb-MIPS has a high adsorption capacity and good selective recognition for lead ion,and the maximum adsorption capacity of Pb-MIPS is 725 μg/g. Pb-MIPS was applied to determination of lead in water sample, the results show that the GA atomic adsorption measurement ability for trace lead in sample can be obviously improved.
