Abstract: It is molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) several strongpoints, predetermination and recognition sites, that molecularly imprinted technology has been widely used in the fields of sample extraction, to selectively recognize a given analyte, or group of structurally related compounds in complicated samples with high sensitivity. The article summarize the theory and practice of molecularly imprinted technology, and discuss its practicability and outlook applications to detect drugs and poisons in the forensic science
