Abstract: Molecular imprinting is an emerging technique for producing highly selective polymers which can recognize a particular molecule. The preparation of enzyme-mimic catalysts by molecular imprinting is a challenging and promising field. In this paper, the methods developed for the preparation of MIPs catalyst since 1987 are reviewed. There are mainly three methods:imprinting TSA,imprinting substrate or its analogue, and applying preorganization to produce MIPs catalyst.Problems and prospect existing in the preparation of MIPs catalyst are discussed, too.
