Abstract: A chitosan(CS)/tetraethyl orthosilicate(TEOS) hybrid molecularly imprinted membrane was prepared using CS as bulk polymer, parathion as template molecules and TEOS as crosslinking agent. The molecularly imprinted membrane can be fabricated directly on glassy carbon electrode to construct a molecularly imprinted membrane modified electrode and the electrode can be used for the selective detection of parathion in aqueous solutions with a differential pulse voltammetric technique. The peak current signal from imprinted molecular, parathion,is dependent linearly on its concentration in the range from 1 to 10 μg/L,and the limit of detection obtained is 24 ng/L.The as-prepared electrode provides a new way for selectively detecting parathion.
Template and target information: parathion
