Abstract: A series of molecularly imprinted polymers were synthesized by bulk polymerization using 2-chlorophenol(2-CP) as the template,4-vinylpyridine(4-VP) as the functional monomer and trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate(TRIM) as the cross-linker.Selectivity and adsorption ability were evaluated by selectivity chromatography and static adsorption, respectively. The results indicated that the imprinted factor of the polymer was 1.71,the maximum number of binding sites Bmax was 0.1137 mmol/g and the polymer had the best selectivity and adsorption ability, when toluene was used as the porogenic solvent and the molar ratio of the functional monomer to the template was 2:1.
