Abstract: This paper describes a new procedure for modifying the surface of silica gels with N-[3-(trimethoxy-silyl)propyl]ethylene-diamine(TPED) and Pyridine-2-carboxaldehyde in the presence of copper ions to create a new type of copper-imprinted sorbent, which exhibits a high adsorption capacity and selectivity for copper ions, and adsorption property of imprinted polymer was also studied.
Template and target information: copper ion, Cu(II)
