Abstract: Caffeine-imprinted polymer used caffeine as a template molecule was synthesized for the purpose of selective elimination for caffeine including in foods and drinking water. And then, for the polymer, an adsorption characteristic for caffeine was compared to those of some guest molecules. Furthermore, for the polymer, selective adsorption for caffeine including in tea and green tea was examined, and the adsorption characteristic of the imprinted polymer was evaluated. (author abst.)
