Abstract: The molecularly imprinting microspheres(MIPMs) were prepared with suspension polymerization using ciprofloxacin as template and methacrylic acid as functional monomer.Polymers were characterized with IR and TGA.The batch way was used to investigate the selectively binding ability of the MIPMs for ciprofloxacin and analogue.Saturated amount of adsorption toward ciprofloxacin was finished in 4 houres.Imprinting factor and maximum surface adsorption quantity of MIPMs2 is 1.58 and 183.18 µmol/g respectively with best imprinting effect.Scatchard analysis showed that two classes of binding sites were formed in the molecularly imprinting polymer under the studied condition.The results showed that the imprinted polymer exhibited a high selective binding for ciprofloxacin and reusable property could be applied for analysis and separation of ciprofloxacin.
