Abstract: As a development of molecular imprinting technique,bio-imprinting in which proteins acts as matrix plays an important role in preparing enzyme mimics. Here,we use N-benzoyl-L-arginine ethyl ester as template to bio-imprint protein-nucleic acid mixture from herring sperm, and then catalyze the hydrolysis of N-benzoyl-L-arginine ethyl ester. The result shows that the bio-imprinted protein-nucleic acid mixture is stable in aqueous medium, thereby mimicking hydrolytic enzymes.
Template and target information: bioimprinting, N-benzoyl-L-arginine ethyl ester
Author keywords: bio-imprinting, protein-nucleic acid mixture, catalyzed hydrolysis, active site
