Abstract: The honokiol molecularly imprinted polymeric microspheres were successfully prepared in aqueous system by a one-step swelling and polymerization method.Scatchard analysis showed that there were two classes of binding sites formed in the imprinted microspheres. The equilibrium dissociation constant of binding sites with the higher affinity was estimated to be 0.13 mmol/L,and the density of the calculated maximum binding sites was 45.21 μmol/g.The resultant honokiol imprinted microspheres showed the predominate honokiol recognition coefficient, which was 1.85 times higher than that for the magnolol recognition.
