Abstract: Aim To synthesize the molecular imprinted polymer for genistein and study the selective of the MIP.Methods Molecular imprinted polymers were prepared from acrylamide as functional monomers and ethylene glycoldimethacrylate as the cross-linker in methanol and N,N-dimethylformide([phi]1:[phi]2=9:1)using genistein as the template molecular and 2,2'-azobis-isobutyronitrile as the initiation agent. The binding characteristics of the template were evaluated by Scatchard analysis. The selective adsorption of MIP to different target molecular was studied. Results Our results indicated that there were two classes of recognized sites in the polymers and the MIP showed specific affinity toward genistein. Conclusion The MIPs will be used in the solid extraction and chromatrography separation.
