Abstract: A chiral stationary phase for the enantioselective separation of naproxen can be prepared by molecular imprinting,in which 4-vinylpyridine(functional monomer)and trimethylol propane trimethacrylate are copolymerized in the presence of S-naproxen.Racemic naproxen is efficiently resolved on the molecular imprinting polymer. Furthermore, different functional monomers, flow rate in the mobile phase, temperature of column are investigated. The thermodynamic parameters are estimated, it is found that enantioselective separation is enthalpy controlled.
