Abstract: A molecularly imprinted cellulose acetate(CA)-polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF) blend membrane(MIM) for reactive brilliant blue KN-R was prepared by wet phase inversion technique. The result suggested that the resulting membrane with the higher adsorptivity could be fabricated under a certain preparing condition: the polymer concentration(wp) was 14%,the w(CA):w(PVDF) was 9.5:0.5,the imprinted molecule concentration(wt) was 0.1 %,the additive concentration(wa) was 7.5 %.The resulting membrane was a specific molecular imprinted membrane with an affinity for the imprinted molecules. The separation mechanism of this special molecular imprinted membrane could be regarded as retarded permeation.Among a certain range from 0 to 0.1%,the binding adsorptivity was enhanced with the increasing of the concentration of reactive brilliant blue KN-R.According to the strengths of binding powers between the MIM and the imprinted molecules,as well as the adsorption enthalpy Δ H0,it could be concluded that there existed hydrophobic interaction, van der Waals interaction and hydrogen bond interaction between the MIM and the imprinted molecules.
