Abstract: Molecular imprinting technique (MIT) is a novel molecular recognition technique. It has been studied and applied in many fields because of its efficient molecular recognition capacity. Principal and characteristic of molecular imprinting were reviewed. Application of the molecular imprinting polymers (MIPs) in measurement and separation of special compounds was summarized. Status quo and prospect of MIT application in tea research area was also discussed in the paper.
