Abstract: Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) of Quercetin (Qu) were prepared using acrylamide (AM), acrylic acid (AA) and methyl methacrylate (MMA) as functional monomers, N,N′-methylenebiacrylamide (NMBA) as cross-linker and the redox system L-ascorbic acid (Vc) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) as initiator in mixed methanol/ethanol media. During the optimization process, another compound, Isorhamnetin (IRa), which possesses a very similar structure with Qu, was recruited as the chaff interference, and the separation degree of MIPs to Qu and IRa was adopted to investigate and optimize the influence of each factor. The product prepared at under optimal conditions showed a separation degree of 4.00 of Qu from the mixture of Qu and IRa with the same mass concentration
