Abstract: Molecular imprinting technology (MIT) is a new polymer composite technology which is developed in recent years. The molecular imprinted polymer (MIPs) which are prepared by MIT can be used for sensor recognition element with the highly specific recognition property. In this paper, the molecularly imprinted piezoelectric sensor which is made of the molecular imprinting technique combined with piezoelectric crystal is described to detect explosives, the detection of the sensor output signal and the design of its processing circuit are also introduced. This sensor has good selectivity and sensitivity of explosives molecules. -® 2011 IEEE
