Abstract: A sensitive method for the determination of chloramphenicol(CAP) in milk was developed based on its strong electrochemiluminescence(ECL) inhibition of Ru(bpy)32+/TPA system, combined with molecularly imprinted solid phase extraction(MISPE).Under the optimized conditions, the quenched ECL intensity versus the logarithm of the concentration of CAP was linear over a concentration range from 1.0 × 10-13 to 1.0 × 10-11 g/mL,and the limit of detection(LOD) was found to be 3 × 10-12 g/mL.The precision and accuracy were good. This method was successfully applied to determination of the trace CAP residue in milk.
